Recovery seed & optional passphrase

Seed essentials

  • Seed = only backup to restore funds.
  • Keep it offline. Never photograph or type into a site.
  • Use a fireproof/waterproof metal backup if possible.

Passphrase (advanced)

Adds an extra hidden-wallet layer. Powerful but increases recovery complexity — document procedures securely.
